MBD Group conducts MBD Olympiad Exam 2022 for students of Grades 6 to 8

New Delhi, July 15th, 2022: MBD Group, one of the leading education companies in India with nearly seven decades of experience, organised ‘MBD Olympiad Exam 2022’ for the students of grades 6-8. MBD Olympiad was an online MCQ-based Maths and Science test where students from all over India participated. More than 20,000 entries from 28 states were received for MBD Olympiad.

The test was conducted online on olympiad.aasoka.com between 08:00 AM to 08:00 PM on 30th June where the students had to answer 30 MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) in the duration of 30 minutes. Out of the 30 questions, 15 questions were from science subject and 15 from maths subject.

The Olympiad marked the 77th Founder’s Day celebration of the Group to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Founder Sh. Ashok Kumar Malhotra on 10th July. The Olympiad also resonated with the Founder’s vision of getting the team together as one MBD family and bring change through education and empowerment.

A special occasion like this was an excellent moment to honour Shri Ashok Kumar Malhotra Ji’s legacy, his teachings, and values. Various social, cultural and educational activities were held to commemorate the 77th Founder’s Day. The MBD Olympiad was one such event held for students. We are very happy to see the active participation of the students and hopeful that these kinds of activities will help students to discover their hidden talent and potential”.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Monica Malhotra Kandhari, MD, MBD Group said, “Olympiad examinations help to identify a student’s capability and motivate them to endeavour for better and deeper understanding of scientific facts so as to enhance their reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills. With MBD Olympiad Exam 2022, we gave students a chance to learn, win, and excel. I am very happy to see that students participated in large numbers and made it a success“.

In order to appear for the exam, interested students registered themselves on the official website olympiad.aasoka.com. The registration process was free of cost from 1st June and ended on 25th June. More than 20,000 student had registered from 28 states and more than 20,000 entries were received. The names of winners were announced on 8th July 2022 via email/SMS used during registration.

The winners of the Olympiad got a chance to win exciting prizes. The 1st prize winners for each grade won 8″ Tablet and 2nd and 3rd prize winners for each grade got gift voucher worth Rs. 5000 and Rs. 3000 respectively.

Apart from this, gift voucher worth Rs. 500 were given to 30 Consolation prizes winners and participating students will receive e-Certificate.
