JAIN Online launches ENGAGE – The learner’s community space

Bengaluru, 28th July 2022: JAIN Online, the e-learning arm of JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University), launched a special student engagement programme ENGAGE, a unique and dedicated learner’s community space. The progressive programme includes four key steps – ‘Engage’, ‘Inspire’, ‘Upskill’ and ‘Reward’. This first of its kind students’ development programme helps in holistic growth of the students through various interactive sessions, Inspire with successful personalities across various walks of life with proper guidance and mentorship.

“Inspire” held its first ever interactive event on Sunday, 24th July named “Every breath is a chance; Upgrade and Upskill”. Mr. Ashish Vidyarthi, a renowned actor and motivational speaker, spoke at the event. A total of 700 participants attended the event, including students, professionals, and industry leaders. 

Dr Raj Singh, Vice Chancellor, JAIN (Deemed-to-be-University) said, “For a successful career, it’s very important for students to stay engaged, inspired, and motivated. Keeping that in mind and as a responsible educational entity, we have launched ENGAGE, the learner’s community space of JAIN Online to help and support them in their holistic development, career being a priority. The engaging sessions by the experts and thought leaders with diverse experiences and perspectives will help them gather knowledge and experience for their challenges, as well will keep them motivated. Our first session with Mr. Vidyarthi today was a great start, and I am sure that the participants must have benefited immensely. We will be coordinating multiple events and activities for the students in the future as well”.

Explaining the significant role of JAIN Online in online education, Mr. Ashish Vidyarthi discussed how to identify, test, and apply one’s innate potential, judge oneself, and re-create one’s own worth. He stressed the importance of upgrading or upskilling during this productive session. The speaker expressed deep insights on topics such as time is precious and every breath is a chance to start something new. COVID has transformed the world into an online universe, as well as how it can be used as a priceless asset for growth and responsibility. 

Addressing the participants, Mr. Ashish Vidyarthi said, “It is indeed a privilege for me to interact with the students at JAIN Online ‘ENGAGE’ platform. Being an actor, a traveller and motivational speaker, I have been through a lot of ups and downs in my life. Every time my intention was to make my life extraordinary, listen to my inner voice and live and create a world around myself. I am glad to share my stories and inspire the students to dream big, and empower them to believe in their dreams and stay strong through the challenges. I wish all the success to the students for their future endeavours and my message for them ‘keep dreaming”.

ENGAGE will have its next offline event on 30th July, where Grammy award winning music composer and environmentalist Ricky Kej will interact with students. The event will also be streamed online.
