Now join Chartered Accountancy Course after passing Class X Examination.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has recently allowed provisional registration to students who have cleared their 10th Standard examination. This move will allow the students to get an early entry into the prestigious CA course. Students who choose commerce stream can pursue the same.
The registration will be regularized after the student clears 12th Standard examination after which they will be eligible to appear for the CA Foundation exam. CA exams consist of three levels:
Foundation
Intermediate
Final.
The students are required to undergo internship for 3 years in a CA Firm before they can appear for the final exam. The students can attempt the final exam in the last 6 months of their internship. They receive a monthly stipend as prescribed by the ICAI during the internship period.
The Indian CA course is one of the toughest courses in the world and earlier the students start their preparation the better. Keeping this view in mind the ICAI has taken an excellent step to allow students to enroll for the CA course after completing school. This will give the students adequate time to prepare for the CA Foundation Exam along with studying for 11th and 12th standard. The CA Foundation syllabus is based on 11th and 12th standard syllabus. Hence the preparation will complement their college studies.
The early start will definitely lead to an early mover advantage. The students will be easily able to clear their foundation exam in the first attempt if they study regularly. Additionally, their 11th and 12th standard marks would improve as they would be gaining in depth knowledge in the CA Course.
One of the cornerstones of passing the CA exam is good preparation and to achieve that one has to start early at all levels. With this announcement allowing 10th standard students to join the CA course, the students would be directed early towards a glorious career.
